Here’s how to get a kickstart to building apps by using a pre-built template.
The steps are these:
- Choose your app template
- Create your account, brand and app
- Get started and begin editing your app
…when you start creating your app by clicking “Get started” on our website.
You can also go back to creating an app from a template when you’re logged in, and choose “Brands” from the left side menu, and click on “New Brand from Template”.
1. Choose your app template
You’ll arrive at a view where you can choose an app template.
It is recommended to start with a template, as it’s a quicker way to get concrete things done.
You can always go back to choosing a template, or opt-in to make an app completely from scratch.
Browse around and see what kind of features each template has.
Finally, select the template you want to use and click “Use template” (the green button).
2. Create your account, brand and app
Then choose a name for your app, and select where you want your data to be stored (“Region”). The app name can be changed later, but the region can’t, so choose it carefully.
Then you’ll be asked to create your account: an email and a password. You can also sign up using a Google account or Apple ID.
3. Get started and begin editing your app
Now you’ll see the three-part welcome message series to get you started with Choicely.
1) Firstly, you can use the Choicely Studio app to preview and test your app.
You’ll do so by reading the QR code on the screen. Download the app on the App Store or Google Play to get started! You can read more about previewing your app here.
2) Get a feel of the quick changes you can make to your app with Choicely. Change the color and click “update” to see the change in your app’s header! Note: this happens in the QR code app preview as well!

And now you can start customizing the template app as your own. It’s time to get going with creating apps!
